Programme at Glance
The EES Biennial Conference 2026 brings together the global evaluation community in Lille for a dynamic exchange of ideas, learning, and collaboration. The programme is designed to combine professional development, knowledge exchange, and networking.
It begins with pre-conference Professional Development Workshops, taking place from 26 to 27 October. These one-day workshops provide hands-on training led by experienced facilitators and opportunities for exchange among participants from around the world.
The main conference, from 28 to 30 October, will feature thematic strands and general sessions in different formats.
The programme will feature keynote and plenary sessions with leading experts, alongside social and networking activities.

- Please note that this is a preliminary programme and changes are still possible.
- The Welcome Reception and Networking Evening will take place following the conclusion of the conference sessions each day, after 18:00.
- The professional development workshops will be published by mid-May and will be available during registration.
- The conference programme will be available by mid-June.
- Each day includes coffee and lunch breaks.

At EES 2026, we celebrate 30 years of bridging theory and practice in evaluation. Building on the “Better Together” theme of EES 2024, this conference will explore how innovative methods, systemic learning, and responsive approaches can help evaluation contribute successfully to vibrant democracies and inclusive policies.
